This review is written at the halfway point of burning Gingered Peach. I wholeheartedly agree with first reviewer Julie that this is mostly apricot, followed by peach, then light ginger. This is a unique fragrance medley as the stone fruits are not too sweet and the ginger is not too spicy. As contrasted to Country Candle Juicy Peach, this is not a sweet Summer peach scent; rather a pleasant surprise for a fruit and spice enthusiast.
The burn quality is a bit less smooth; the flames are very high, which causes wafts of dark smoke to come off the wicks, even when the candle has only been burning for 1-2 hours. Kringle’s quality control may wish to review the wick performance of this candle. The wax is burning evenly, is not sooty, and smells fine. The fragrance strength is medium high in an open concept space. The throw reaches throughout several rooms without being cloying or too strong. The black translucent glass jar design and simple label seems to fit most decor styles.
Gourmand lovers may wish for a bakery note, which is not the fragrance profile in this scent. This candle may be most enjoyed by stone fruit fans who enjoy a touch of warm spice. The mood of this fragrance is late Summer, transitioning to Autumn.
Once again, I respectfully request that Kringle considers offering Daylights and/wax melts in the Reserve candles for more informed candle purchasing. With humble thanks, Reilly ☘️
